EMERGENCY MEETING
MINUTES
OCTOBER 29, 2012
1:00 PM Starbard Building
Present: Chairman Renzoni, Selectman Ferguson and Selectman Lavigne
Others Present: Jacquelyn Kelly, Acting Town Manager
Chairman Renzoni called the emergency meeting to order at 1:00 PM. The Pledge of Allegiance was held. Mr. Renzoni announced that the Board of Selectmen called an emergency meeting in accordance with Section 18 of the Open Meeting Law, which permits an emergency meeting due to a sudden unexpected occurrence (Hurricane Sandy) that demands immediate action.
On a Motion by Sel. Lavigne, seconded by Sel. Ferguson, it was VOTED 3-0-0 that the Selectmen declare the Town to be under a State of Emergency effective October 29, 2012 in accordance with similar declarations by the Governor of the Commonwealth and the President of the United States.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 1:05 p.m.
